Hi,
What is the model number of the unit?
J4 error on most VRV's relates to a problem with the heat exchanger gas thermistors, these are located on pipe work between the reversing valves and heat exchangers. The same error code will be generated for both thermistors, I would suggest you check the resistance fo verify which one has failed.

Thermistor could be unpluged/loose connection or out of range (2~800Kohms)
