McQuay MCK050 error codes???

Hey all,
Hope someone can come up with an answer,
I have a McQuay MCK050 Cassette on R407c
with there SLM3 remote control showing an
E4 Error :( during the heating cycle,
Any ideas??

Look inside the filter probably there is show alarm codes. What is the outside temperature ?Maybe cant make the defrost cycle or is too cold outside.

E4 = Compressor overload.

Cycle power off / on. Check all connections, filter, refrigerant charge etc,

Hey Baycuclaudyu,

Outside temps are going from +3 to -2c
the system fault seems to effect the unit after it has been on for some time,
so could be a defrost problem,
Can the defrost time \ temp limit be extended to help clear a build up on the outdoor unit??

Also check all sensors for shorts and lose connections. If the unit has a phase protection board with a discharge temp sensor the system may have faulted on high discharge temp.
