Hey guys, has anybody here useing 134a on a outside condensing unit have to lower the settings on the LPCO on low ambeint temps to keep the unit from cycling. I read somewhere this had to be done. My LPCO was set to cut in at 25psi and cut out at 10psi,and the unit was cycling every 5 seconds, the beverage cooler, which the unit operates was 78 deg, box temp. lowered the settings on the LPCO to cut in at 20 and cut out at 5psi. once I made the change, the compressor quit the rapid cycling and stayed on long enough to pull the beverage box temp to 38-40 degrees:confused:

Your question comes in the middle of a Michigan winter, so ambients are cold. If the CU and the LPC are outside, the LPC is getting false input from the colder (than the conditioned space) outdoor air space.
