The unit work in heating and cooling but wont run for long before shutting down. Is then shows two red LED's, one for power on the other says error next to it. Turn off and on and it will happily run again befor shutting down again with second LED lit up showing a problem.

Talked to the guys selling this stuff and they said it will be short of gas. Took all the gas out and it was short by 0.5Kg (Should have been 2.5Kg in the system) and re-charged but the same problem is there.

If it looks like it's shutting down on a fault then check the obvious things first,

Are coils clean?
Do indoor/outdoor fans run?
Are all thermisters reading ok?
What's the Compressor discharge temp?
What are the Compressor amps?
Are the service valves on the unit fully open?
Is the unit tripping on HP/LP (connect gauges and check pressures)

don't you have a dianostic chart that talls the cod of the led lits? should be on a panel someplace.
