Hi Guys,

Am after some information to help me if we get the go ahead.

I have a daikin indoor unit FAYP100BV1( Wall Mount) which is in a kitchen, to cut a log story short the remote controller(hard wired) needs moving 12mtrs to the otherside of the kitchen.

Once moved we would like to have the remote sensing the return air instead of at the wall mount.
Remote Model No Is BRC1D52

I know on mitsi equipment this is done by the flick off a dip switch and a remote symbol with a thermometer appears at the remote.

Could someone enlighten me how its done this will be night time job due to live kitchen so be handy to know before i go to site

thanks in advance

Hi Lee,

There only are 2 possible sensor field settings on the 407c sky air units;

10-2-01 = Thermostat control will use a combination of both return air and remote controller thermistor

10-2-02 = Thermostat control will use the return air thermistor only

I would suggest installing a KRCS01-1 wall mounted sensor for accurate control and set field setting 10-2-02
