Hi everyone,
I am hoping there is someone out there who can help me as I am not a refrigeration engineer! I have a Hotpoint FF200E fridge freezer which is leaking water from the freezer door. The bottom drawer in the freezer keeps getting lots of water below it which freezes and sticks the drawer inside the unit. The main problem is that it leaks quite often and now I need to replace the laminate floor in the kitchen.
I might get the flooring on my household insurance but I need to sort out the fridge freezer problem. It is a few years old so doubt I'll get anywhere contacting Hotpoint. Should I just thoroughly defrost it to see if that helps, or is there something else I can do?
Would really appreciate some advice from any RE's out there.
