well that saves me asking you :)
can i stand at the back and hand out the cans?
ps if anyone is thirsty, i went to "RCL" in manchester today, they now have a fridge in the corner, next to the brew machine.
It is full of free beer, get in, sup up before they start charging for it.
you can sit at a bistro type table, next to the window and watch the world go by, supping carlsberg or bud for free.
its so good i even bought something.
cheers

was it a bottle opener for the buds? lol
OK, jokes aside guys..........
If you are really intrested then Im afraid the shell schemes, or floor space was booked up probably eighteen months ago.........Yes, thats how long exhibitors are in planning for a three day event.
Now, if we are lucky enough at the last minute to get a small free standing floor space there are costs involved.
I reckon with shell scheme (12 foot x 12 foot) , electrics, service charges etc, the rent for the space will be around £3000.00
Now do you just want a piece of floor........?
What about the "stand" ie: furniture, decor, booths, fridges, you know..................you guys have been to exhibitions.........Im talking the whole picture!!!
This is a showpiece advert for RE .
Do you want to spend a couple grand on digital imaging graphics.........etc.
I reckon if we are going this route, then RE can do no worse then a small free standing stand alone booth...........
No frill or graces........but purely informational, with a crate of beers stuck beneath the counter........

Hi Guys,
While i think it would be a good idea to have a stand you have to think what you could put on it.
As Aiyub say's it cost a hell of a lot of money and the only think you really need is a PC/Laptop logged onto the site to show people what it's about. Obviously if you could get some of the merchandise to sell there as well it helps advertising the site.
I think a better option and probably a lot cheaper is to have some leaflets printed out so they could be handed to people visiting the show with all the site info on it and then let people visit the site at their own leisure.
I may be wrong, but i think the show is focused more on project enginners/sales as opposed to engineers, and i maybe wrong but i think the site appeals more to engineers as opposed to salesmen.
Whatever you decided, if i can be of any help before, during or after the show i would be glad to help
Regards
Fatboy
