View Full Version : Expansion valve Changing ?

Dear all of you

I have few maneurop compressor that are currently using R22 refrigerant and room temperature +16°C ( Production room ).I need some advise about retrofit R22 to R407C .I m not sure whether want to change expansion valve or not .
Any advise would be much appreciated . Thank you .

You will have to change the oil in the compressors to POE, clean the system from mineral oil, TXV is almost the same and you can change it or leave it, change the driers and back to work.

Thank you chemi-cool. Do you advise me to retrofit R22 to R507 for that room temperature ? why ?

R-507 is for low temp.

If you keep the room temp at 16°C, why not use R-134?
