Daikin vrv binary codes checking units on system

Hi can anyone tell me if wheb I use the binary codes to check how Many fan coils are on the system if it will pick up the vam units?

For FCU's:
Mode once
Set 5 times
Return once

For BS Boxes:
Mode once
Set 6 times
Return once

Then obviously it will work in binary from right to left 32,16,8,4,2,1

So 11 units will show
0 0 1 0 1 1


It wont show the VAM units, no

I'm a Daikin fun but i never understand way Daikin still uses binary coeds for this , why the fudge ?? it's not expensive to have a little display on it, others do it

They might want to make the tech think or somthing
