hi guys. got a contract to repair some science lab equipment (agitating water baths). seems like a simple enough system but controlled in a real fancy package. problem is i cant get any service manuals. anyone have any ideas and the manufacturer wont return my calls. thanks in advance.

Considering that this has nothing to do with refrigeration are you asking in the right place ?

The operating manual describes the controls quite well I thought.

there is a refrigeration system controlling the chiller water temp system. its a small R-134a system. maybe not the right forum but i dont see lab equipment on the list. thanks for any replies guys.

my bad i posted the wrong unit model. its the FP 40 HD/SD. cools to -32 c etc R-134a unit.

Service Manuals are available for about $250-300 each some models have 2 manuals. Call Julabo US at 610.231.0250 hit 0 and ask for service. Their service manager's name is Zach. If no service there contact there Parent in Germany's service.

all went well with the unit. it had a cracked suction line. put in a new drier and 5.4 0z of fresh R-134a. cooled a beer in 5 seconds!!! thanks all

Beer! That is great use of these baths! Try Vodka at about -20°C. Smoothest shot you will ever have!
