Hi i was asked to fix a daikin multi system my90cjv1 and after checking i found both compressor and outdoor board to be knackered and the coil was totaly blocked.I had another condenser in my lockup which was an ma90cj7v1 so i phoned daikin uk and asked if i could swap the condensers over to which the technical guy said yes but it will only work in cooling which was ok in the application needed.But once fitted a u4 fault came up,All 4 interconnecting cables are ok and im thinking he gave me bad info but as they are not available at weekend any help would be appreciated,by the way as soon as power is on you get 12 volts on the signal.
