Give you some idea.... each page face in that book is worth about 8k....

Anyone know any other good places to ad?

yes - try various on line directories - even if you haven't got a website, your details can be found by people using a search engine to find what they are looking for. We gave up yellow pages several years ago. good luck

Yes it is not cheap but it is on your potential customers desk for over a year.
We never used it for ages but now rate it as necessary, however I am coming round to the argument that Web based products are going to replace paper in the next few years.
We will reduce our YP presence in the coming years, it now seems that the first source of information is now not paper based but Web based.
Got to move with the times, but this route is not cheap.
I think it was Arnold Winestock of GEC who (I am prepared to be corrected here) once said that 50% of their advertising budget was wasted, but he could never find any one to prove which 50% !!!

Yeah the web stuff looks ok,

The rep lady droped a few bollocks when she was shuffleing throught her papers with figures telling me why i should do this that and the other, as at the back i spotted the logoof another local firm, well when she went to the loo i had a peek and it seems they are pouring nearly 10k into paper ads.... with them doing that it made it clear that what ever charming ad i might be able to come up with it would look seriously amature against there ad!

Think i might just throw a few quid at an on line listing and see what happens!

Thanks for all your input guys! Its nice to bounce a few ideas off others!
