We are looking at a 2012 bid which they are trying to stop any HFC kit being used.

We suspect they want Co2 specified. However the info is a bit thin on the ground. several cold rooms but not on a pack.

One of our contacts mentioned a 'glycol' option would be nice

Anyone got the faintist idea on spec'ing this kit...

Glycol is a freakin headache, sub critical Co2 is much friendlier.... but if zero HFC is their motive then its only transcritical Co2 or R290/R744, or even R717/R744 which all have their obvious issues.

Best interim bet is R744/R134a sub critical, nice and easy.

CO2 work at trans-critical pressure, the pressure is very high.
