Hi all !

Im new to the low pressure world so I was wondering if i could get a few pointers. I have this 19dk centrif. It started running rough friday. Shortly after i got there it started intermittantly surgeing and every other minute or so you would hear this terrible screeching noise. Cooler psi was running at about -14 condensor pressure was a lil low running at 1 to 1.5 and surging down to zero. This is in R-11 machine,of course.

think u need to check water flows thru evap as well as cds and history ie maintenance of tubes.

u dont say what the load unit was running at and design of unit.

reckon this is a very old unit and may even suspect its short of gas and have cds tube leaks.

need a log including water ins and outs plus condenser R11 off temps.

Verify gauges are ok also
