i have 2 chillers both going out intermittantly 1 on 61 and 46 faults and the other on 48 and 57, i have found the the oil heater on the second unit to be open circuit, has someone got a manual or any ideas?
i have found the pressure transducers to be a little out of calibration but i have not got the service code to get into the Pro Dialog Plus controller to recalibrate these.
the sensors appear to be ok

If the oil heater goes erratic on some Carrier chillers on the master compressor, then the whole unit is shut down.

gdya brian my name is paul im a mechanic in the ACT australia ive read a few of your posts thanks for sharing your knowlege. Ive found a programmable carrier tstat that is melting itself off the wall! its 24v and all the obvious things have been done (including running new cable to the tstat), the unit has gone threw 2 commpressors already in the last 5 years. The utec board outdoor seems ok i never replaced one in my ten years at carrier.
