freezer fault

just taken on this freezer,runs ok down to and holds -22. seems to defrost ok but after about 5 days ices over and loses temp. Any ideas

what controls the defrost,auto doors fitted?large delivery on fifth day?

Is it fully defrosted at each defrost cycle or ice builds gradually during 5 day period?
