I have a titanium heat exchanger which serves as the evaporator on a chiller. I am cooling water for an exhibit. There is a refrigerant leak on 3 of the lokring compression fittings that joins the titanium tube and copper tube. Lokring company says I need 1 1/4 inches of tube left to use another fitting because they have a special tool that makes the compression. I only have 3/4 inches left. Any other suggestions or fittings I could use out there? The titanium and copper tubing is 3/4 inch. I would hate to have to buy a new titanium heatexchanger.

Why you do not use welding to make it longer ( titanium tube) .or can you use normal flaring (copper flaring)
