We have one 1150 TR single effect steam fired chilling unit.Since last month it is not performing well. The refrigerant level has increased but we did not notice any reduction in absorbent level.Even we are not able to blow down the refrigerant.Vacuum level is 17 mm HG.in shell and 20 in storage tank.One peculiar thing observed that when we stop the machine,The refrigerant level goes a bit high and after 20 minutes of dilution cycle when absorbent pump stops the level of refrigerant again increases and goes above the evaporator sight glass.
