:cool:very sorry bout demeaning comments was in bad mood and pissed. Depends on sys. i carry Sp34e, r409a and 134a. on systems with flooded evaps ( low side float) use the sp34e on dx use either 409a if keeping mineral oil or sp34 if u think u mite change comp or oil at later time as u then use POE oil and can top up with 134a after oil change. If u are changing comp or oil at time use 134a comp, or change to POE oil then use 134a cheaper than blends. For low temp ex 502 same sort of deal but with 408a with mineral oil ,404a with POE regards the crim from down under lmao

 thanks rick with a d i tried to appolagise but it seems the lads still want to give me grief. Well done on that r22 tx valve. you can tell the old boys at your company that it was definitly because of too much press drop across coil due to distributer . It should never had int. eq. valve , it obviously never ran right from original install. Any more than about 4 psi drop and you always should use ext. eq valve. That type of distributer with an orrifice will give too much P/D. Im suprised being a buffalo trident blower it didnt have an equaliser line from new, or had original installer blancked it off to use int eq valve?

First Things First, Theres Not Enough Votes There To Make A Qualified Or Accurate Survey, Now Let Me Vote And That Should Be Enuff, At Least An Even Number, Such As A Number Of 50 Refer Mech's. And In Two Categories Med Temp And Low Temp, Since There Seems To Be A Confusion Of Whats What To The Application Of Refrigerants- TO announce that there must be no criticism of the THREAD , or that we are to stand by the THREAD, right or wrong, is not only unINFORMED and servile, but is morally IRRESONSIBLE, AND UNINTELLIGENT to the FURTHERING OF THE REFRIGERATION PROFESSION public." --Henry Martinez, :D

Couple of things:-

1) Whats wrong wih the thread and if you don't like it start your'e own .

2) The Thread is not to make a final say in what everyone should use, Most if not all the engineers on this site have the intellegence to know that some R12 replacements work better on certain applications than others, the thread was just to get a general opinon on who's using what, for what purpose and to get feedback on their results

ANY PROBLEMS WITH THAT
