Hi Reefer Hung,

These settings are very important for properly work of reefer unit.I think you have to contact with your local carrier service centers.I show you carrier service center in your country. You have to want assistance to them.

I was wrong.

DCF settings only determines how the controller handles sensor recordings and alarms.

Reefer hung will need a 'config' card and manually enter those correct #'s into CD20.
(Reefer hung, what does your CD20 read now ?)

The last good list that I've seen of model #'s with their options was in the manual for 511-521, but it only covered those models.
http://www.corp.carrier.com/static/ContainerFiles/Files/Literature/Manuals/On-Line_Manuals/T268_RevG_text.pdf
((pages 1-2 thru 1-9))

If it was me, I'd start with 31-001 and work up from there till hum sensor shows up.
Kinda a crap shot cause you could end up with a config # that has something yours dont.

Reefer hung, just to confirm, is this a unit that never had a hum sensor and you just installed one ?
If so, was the wiring already there for a hum sensor and all you had to do was plug it in ?

Reefermechanic, CNF04 only turns the option of 'Dehumidification Mode' on or off. It wont tell the controller if it has a hum sensor or not.

Did some exploring in the PCT/Evergreen yard today.

They have 3 different 531 units that I came up with.
Anyone one of these 'may' work.

531-08
531-11
531-12

All three had hum sensors.

Hi Will,

have you never install a new humidity sensor to the carrier unit? You have to change cnf04 to on position when install new humidty sensor to the carrier reefer unit. I installed humidity sensor to the carrier reefer unit and also i changed cnf04 to the on position;)

best regards

Dear all carrier model 69NT40-531-001,531-002,531-005 are factory installed of equipment to allow field installation of a humidity sensor. In order to change the values in the controller and dadacorder(build in controller) the best way is with dataline software due to the fact that you have to change the sensor configuration that datacorder reads and to be controlled by the controller with the appropriate values.
