OSION has been invented,producing a new concept Ice makers--Ice dispenser in Sept 2009.

New ice/water dispensers is ideal for any situation where a number of people need access to an ongoing ice/water supply. As well as being compact and energy efficient, the dispensers utilise a very hygienic method of producing, storing and dispensing ice.The ice moves directly to the storage hopper as soon as it is made meaning that it has no contact with light or air until dispensed. Also ambient air is prevented from entering the storage hopper by a close fitting lid and a rubber diaphragm on the dispense mechanism ensuring the hygienic integrity of the ice.It's easy both used free standing,or built in under counter.

Current capacity range from 12~25kg per days.
Dispenser ice,ice mixes water or cold water.

Manitowoc has done this for 15 yrs plus
pluses add a Automatic Cleaning system - used to remove and control build up of lime scale & sanitizer.
As coolhibby1875 said its all about the water that feeds it.

Yes, your comment is correct.
Just like what you said, most ice dispenser should be connected to water tube source to make ice.

However, we have a solution to make sure our ice dispenser can work if the place have no water tube source condition.

Please refer to the picture of water box set. This item can make ice dispenser without connection to the water tap system and make ice at any location.

:DBy the way, automatic cleaning system is included.
