Hi Guys
Hope you can help - again.
This one is an old - over twenty years old, Amana automatic refrigerator 19, one of those side by side jobs with ice and cold water dispenser.
It just suddenly stopped working!
I can't find the model number, so can't ask for a manual.
The power is there - the lights inside all work.
It was still switched on when I arrived, I put my hand on the compressor, and it was bearly warm
The fan motor was running, the rad pipes were cold both ends
Turned the power on and off, the compressor made no obvious stop and start shake
The stats are turned to max
I turned it off and removed panels to check for obvious signs - nothing to indicate any cause
Turned it back on again, there was a little gurgling at the compressor, shortly after there was some klicking - relay perhaps
Now Im stuck, can anyone help, thanks
