Hi All,
Any body have experience with Smart reefer problems?? especially pulldown temperature too long time.
Most problem is pulldown temp in my depot.
Is there same?

Heres a few things to consider for slow temperature pull down times.

Has the reefer box been precooled before loading?

What condition are the reefer boxes in? Water logged, holes in roof, or side walls, and insulation thichness?

What temperature is the product when being loaded?

What is the desired set-point in which you want to achieve?

What is the products specific heat value compared to H2o at fresh and frozen ranges?

What does the full load way?

Perform the time to change temperature, calculation based on above questions.

Have you ran the unit through a long self diagnostic process? If so, does it pass or fail?

Does the system have fresh air exchange option, if so is it being used when not needed?

Is the unit refrigertaion system working correctly; fan speeds, and refrigerant charge levels, and operating pressures?

Always try and stick to answering the basic questions above to determine if the issue is inward or outward. (Outward) being outside factors of the unit. (Inward) being the unit itself.

Note!! you can have multiple problems so stick with the basics of thermal dynamics and work outward from there.
