Hi Everyone :D
Next week i have a Liebert Hirross Downflow unit to charge up i have left it on vacum over the weekend i did find to gas leaks and repaired they were on the rotalocks on the compressor.The compressor is in the internal unit with exspansion device and the discharge and liquid line pipework going outside to a condenser fan approx 20 m run.I have no information on this unit i did recover 13.kg R407c.
Please could someone tell who's has had experience with this equipment the proper way of charging this type of equipment i was thinking full sightglass s/h s/c measurement or is there anotherway.Has anyone got a installtion manual for these aswell showing how to commision them.

i will try to scan the manual and send u anyhow u should vaccum the unit and charge it checking subcooling and superheat u could use sightglass as a refferance but all depending on ambient temp and interior temp dont forget to monitor your head pressure!!

Manufacturer recommendations:

Full sightglass
6-8k Superheat
Appx 6k subcooling

The manual does give you guidance to approximately calculate system charge.
