Just quoting a job with FTXS 35G indoor unit.
The customer wants daily time clock control, so the information that i have from Daikin is that i need a BRC944 wired remote
plus cable BRCW901A08.
I dont know how they are connected up as yet but i will find that out, if i get the job!

Fitted one a few weeks ago.
The adapter plugs in to the evaps pcb then the wired remote plugs in to the other end of the adapter, simples! :D
You can get the adapter cable in two lengths.
Snaffle the supplied wireless remote away in to the Van and then U can flog it on maybe at a later date for £50!

The part you require for the model of unit is a BRC944 WIRED REMOTE
Can you confirm these parts are still available? Possibly suggesting a supplier. We got informed yesterday by Cimate Center that these were no longer produced.

Well I got the job
2 units a FTXS 35G wall system and a FTXS 71F wall
system
The FTXS 35G has a nice infa red controller which has the 7 day time clock controller.
but for the 71 model I have had to fit the BRC 944 wall mounted wired controller to give the unit time clock operation
Fitted the BRC944 onto the wall as Daikin said there is a slight delay for the special interconnecting cable (BRCW901A08)
Waited now 2 weeks, still no cable
Told today, parts should be available 20th December !
The customer as been OK with me but i am not to happy

Contact Daikin for spares.
United Refrigeration managed to supply me in the end. Climate Centre said discontinued. odd. Anyway, all installed. Really easy job. Thanks for your help.
