Hi,

Now Hendrag is no longer LG I can't ask. Does anyone else know or even have a diagram of how the Artcool mirror (18,000) comes apart. I can get as far as front cover off completely, but Thursday I need to get behind the evap and into the fan + airway passage area because customer has water running from behind fan. I don't want to break any irreplaceable plastic bits... anyone help please ?

Trevor

Thanks, but it's just the customer stuff. Anyone had to thoroughly clean one of these ?

This is the installation pdf so maybe read it backwards...

Above for pre 2008 models, try http://mylg.co.uk for later models.

good luck with it, if you have installed it high up to the ceiling (as we had to once) once we took it apart we found it impossible to clip the front cover back on so ended up using superglue - very fiddly and not an easy job! -

top tip is to look out for plenty of screws - there are lots holding it together if something wont unclip easily chances are there is a screw somewhere holding it in place!

good luck

Now Hendrag is no longer at LG, how about trying the LG Technical helpline? Anyone would think Hendrag is the only one who knows about LG units, is that what he made you beleive??

Nice to see you're still lurking around Mr H - the job you did supplying info at LG UK is still to be appreciated - especially since I've been re-vitalising an Arty Cooly inverter today - it saved that company further loss of face... It does seem to supply spares ok here in Spain, at the moment! (Mainly corroded boards - a real money spinner!)

LG are a disgrace, I will never purchase one again... now I am have an EEV valve that is not closing properly on one of the units that when reached set point it shuts but not fully so part of the coil remains cold.
