Hi, first post! Great forum!

I don't know how else to put it, im kinda new to refrigeration and all, so im wondering what is the purpose of a fluid tank? (Fluid goes from the condenser into this tank, and onto the expansion valve.)

its called a recever and it is used to hold the excess refrigerant when the exspansion valve starts to close

also it help us to send just liquid to Expansion valve when the weather is changing during day and also in large system during defrost we keep liquid here and also when rooms come on or off
