I have a room,6m x 5m x 2.5m,
fOR LOW AMBIENT PLACES USE (L x W x 650)
And for hi ambient places use (L x W x 800)= 6 x 5 x 800= 24000 Btu

Hope this will help.

Does the colour have an effect on duty?

Hey guys,

Thanks for the reply.I am using the room to house 5 to 6 dogs.I am showing Golden Retrievers so I've to maintain a temperature of around 20 degrees celsius or below to develop their coat.Other than the dogs, there will be no heating of any kind in the room except maybe just the lights when somebody is in there.

So,I gather that 24000 BTU is sufficent to do the job.My plan was to install a 28000 BTU with 3 blowers for an even spread around the room. Two sets,1 to run for 12 hours and the other to run for the other 12.I was just afraid that 28000 would be an overkill.

Remember the air temp leaving an A/C is rather coldish : the dogs would not complain to you about that - so beforehand, maybe consult about it with veterinarians.
