Liquid R134 into automotive system

Hi guys

About automotive charge

I learnt here how to charge R134 vapour by suction line with compressor ON

If I know the required weight, can I charge liquid R134 by high pressure side with compressor OFF ?

Does R134 have enough pressure in liquid state to be loaded into system by itself ?

I have liquid charged with the compressor off, but i warmed the bottle up first to make sure it would complete the charge (about 1kg) before the system and bottle pressure equalised.

If your bottle is at 80*F then pressure is 86.8 psig. Should work, but see M.S. post. But remember some cars do NOT have hi-side access.
