New Member here and attempting to get help addressing a personal weakness in the HVAC industry.
I have a matched set of evaporator coils and condensing units for a 5T heat pump application that will use R410A refrigerant.
My question is in regard to the correct TXV for the evaporator.
I have been told to use the same valve we have used in standard DX applications ( Sporlan HCAE-5Z ), and I have been told that that we should be using something different for the heatpump application.
Can anyone help with the proper choice and perhaps provide a little education as to the differences if an alternate is required?
