Help! DircalcTM design velocity

I am using dircalcTM to calculate the refrigeration piping, the design velocity of the software is originally set at 12.0m/s by default. can anybody tell me what is the best rate m/s should i put to minimize the pressure drop? and can maintain the oil return for the system at the same time.
