Hello, I have a Carrier Genesis TM800 fridge trailer. The unit starts up o.k. but cuts out displaying the alarm code `HI PRESS`. I take this to mean high pressure. Any thoughts on how to solve this fault?
Thanks

It also could be low pressure or empty system

If it was a low pressure issue, you would get "sys check" alarm.
If all the belts are on, you will need to hook up gauges and see what is going on.

Not always with the "sys check" depends how the parameters are set on the micro.

Agree with the hook up the gauges bit though;)

Could also be dodgy MP+ feed from the battery. Have seen that before.

But as abbs says, if you put your gauges on and run the unit check if you have hi pressure first?

.
The original Summit micro would not shut down or give an alarm on low suction pressure. When they first added the low suction pressure shut down the micro would show "HI PRESS". Ther are quite a few units out there like that. The newer revision micros will show the "SYS CHECK" alarm on low press. and Hi Press on High pressure. Hook some gauges up and it shouldn't be too hard to figure out which it is.
