can anyone shed any light on this problem.i have just replaced a compressor on a lg as-h2465dmo outdoor unit, added charge of r410 refrigerant, started up and it went straight onto a vac also no pressure on liquid outlet.checked found no voltage to reversing valve from indoor pc board.could this be a board fault.thanks

are your service valves open?

Your problem is with the first two letters of your title; lg.

Sorry I couldn't help myself!

They're not the greatest units on earth as exotiic mentioned. Any chance there is a discharge connection before the refrigerant enters the condensor? If the reversing valve was jammed the HP would go sky high.
If you have a solenoid valve magnet, you could manually move the reversing valve over. I think it energizes for heating anyway. If it runs in heating (suction gets hot) but pumps down in cooling, I suspect there is a blockage on your capillary tube on the outdoor unit. It would explain why you have no liquid pressure.

yes.i suspect what ever is causing this is what made compressor to fail.lg dont seem to go over the top with safety controls,as it ran on a 30inch vac
