Hi slightly different problem to previous posting, fridge is a 7081 838-00 ser no 998393200. The fans in the Bio fridge are on all the time, when i switch the fridge and the freezer off the fans are still full on, the only way to stop them is to turn the unit off at the mains.
There is no error code showing and both the fridge and freezer are maintaing the set temps.
I cannot understand why the fans are at full tilt and not droping to standby, any suggestions would be appreciated.

In that way you have defrosting of heat exchanger while compressor is off.

Sorry for being a little simple are you saying it is normal how long should it take, i have not seen it do this before and the fans have been running full tilt for 24 hours.

I don't know for your particular case, but in commercial and industrial refrigeration it is normal that vent is always on for spaces with positive temperature.
