Question? If i filter the ***** into a tank that is sealed via a filter drier on my recovery machine into the tank, can I use the ***** again, or should I use new *****. No burn out just bad txv.

This is a question I am going over with one of my buddies and I think that you can not filter a ***** with a drier and that their is another process for that.

Any one.

Hi joe,
Question 1 - No problem

Question 2 - Are you discussing about the gas separation process?

Filtration involves the removal of contaminant and non condensibles.

FYI - Refrigerant do posses life span.

Finally ever heard of the phrase ' Dead Gas'.

if you have a unit whit only a few kg of refrig, and the refrig is a blended type, like 407c and 410A, than i would trow it away. but if its a chiller whit 50,60 or more kilograms, i would prefer to recover it over a filter, and reinstall it over a new filter. think of the environmental effect if every technician starts to throw away 50 and more kg by each recovery job.....recover and reuse as mutch as possible,so long the refrig is not contaminated by burn-out or acid oil or water.
