Our customer need a screw compressor unit to cooling 40 percent ethylene glycol to -18oC,the refrigeration loads is about 300kw,the ethylene glycol viscosity is 15mPa.s.they want environmentally benign refrigerant such as R134A or R507. I want to know in this conditions which refrigents is better .other environmentally benign refrigerant is better than the two refrigerant also can be used.I also want to know what type heat exchange I should use ,flooded shell-and-tube or thermosyphon (flooded tube) evaporator or dry evaporator.
