steam turbine info

Hi everyone,

My name is Todd and I recently and i recently took the written test for the NYC RMO and failed by 8 points. On the printout at the end of the test I saw that the area where I failed the most in was the steam turbine questions. I cant seem to find any books or any materials that I have that will help me with these questions. Does anybody have any place where I might find some materials that would help me with this.

Hi Todd, a handy reference book for you is Steam-Plant Operation by Woodruff, Lammers and Lammers. It is probably all you will need. If you want a full blown program in power engineering then I would purchase the material from powerengineering dot org. Good luck with the next try.
