Thats a remote control for old K series R22 Mr Slim
Tell customer he needs to upgrade to R410a system which will have inverter control & will use much less electric than the old fixed speed R22 system.
otherwise
Check the dip switch settings on the back of the controller & check with the service manual.
I think there are 2 sets of dips & they are for a number of optional fuctions.

If you need a replacement PM to me as I might have 1 or 2 in the K series parts box someplace in the workshop if I can find it.

I dont think whipping out 12 units and throwing in a multi system is plausable at the the moment considering all units are working fine with no gas leaks or any sorts.

the problem is that because they are locked, they cant turn them off and they are running 24/7 because of this, we want to unlock them, set up the timers, and lock them again. we tried holding the on/off button and test together but only seems to work on different model controllers.

ok i have to look up the dip switch settings for that controller and try it that way, thanks

I think the lock option became available on the A series R407c Mr Slim units
I dont recall a remote controller lock function on the old R22 system remote controllers

ya we found a 3 pin plug connected to the back of all the controllers, we disconnected them and we got control of them and set up the timers. all sorted now thanks
