I got a Whirlpool 6WRI27NW fridge that has a faulty thermostat. The current thermostat is not the original one that was in there but would like to replace it with the original type. Can anyone tell what the original thermostat would be for the fridge?

Whirlpool 's are identified by a 12 digit number often found along side a bar code.
the number usually begins with an 8.
