Hello Peter!

I always put Peter! instead of Peter1 !!!!!!
Its my keyboard!!!!

So nice to know...............Ive been missed.........

I wish I had taken my lap top with me on my travels........I could have submitted some good articles on my adventures!!!

Thinking about it............I could become a travel writer....hmmm

I had a great time............now back to cleaning condenser coils!!!

Peter

On this trip, I sat in a Boeing 777............my first time!!
What a brilliant aircraft...........On the journey this guy, dressed like a captain, asks me if he can sit on the seat next to me..........I say of course

Turns out he is the flight engineer.........so I start asking him all about the plane

I says..........these engines are big............are they Rolls Royce?? He says..........No, there General Electric

They produce 100 000 lbs thrust each !!!!

He says the plane only needs about 140 000 lbs.............so it has around 60 000 spare power

I ask him lot of questions..........He says you know a lot........are you a pilot?????

I says to myself...............If only!!!!

Closest Ive got to flying is my computer simulator!!!!!!

Shucks!!!!

I know Shogun will be grinning ear to ear...........me praising an American aircraft...............Give credit where it is due I says.

But to spoil the party.........This new Airbus double decker A 340.............It looks a beast!!

Will be fun to see this bird take to the skies

But ok.............enough of my ego trip...........Back to good old refrigeration talk now!!!!

Regulations states that all airliners must keep their altitude at cruise speed with one engine out. That's the main reason for the spare power: safety.
