Samsung communication code get lost without power!?

Hello,

my english is very bad, sorry for that.

I have installed a Samsung wall unit AQV09ASAN with outdoor unit AQV09ASAX.
It's a inverter with R410a.

After one or two minutes the Unit bleep and show E101.

I have called the Distributor and he said,
if i unplug the Aircondition longer time (2, 3 or 4 days) the Outdoor unit lose his communication code and can't talk to the indoor unit.

He said it gives an Optioncode that i can type with the IR and than all will be fine.

He don't want give me the code, a technican have to came and it costs 250€.

Can anyone give me the code and a description!?

I have found on mtf-online*net the Optioncodes 2008.pdf but i don't understand what i must type in for AQV09ASAN with outdoor unit AQV09ASAX!

Why don't you threat them with consumer protection organization, since that is their construction error and not your problem. I would shoot that guy with shotgun when he ask me to pay 250€ for their construction fault.
Fight for your right, or else, bend on couch and wait for big cxxk!

if jou have a mai adress i will send the repair mode.
if the few days after no power on outdoor and e1-01 then need to change the out, and indoor pcb too.
give me an adress. or a free space to the service manual and error bulletin.

The Aircondition is two month old and was always powered on.
Then i saw on the energy cost meter the Aircondition needs 20w on standby.
So i have turn it off over night and at the next morning i have turn it on (18 Hrs without power).

I hope it's not the PCB's... i think they are expensive !?

I have measured the voltage terminal inside the indoor unit.
There are (N1) 1 2 and Ground that goes to the outdoorunit.
On the terminals is no voltage!
Is there only voltage when the code to communicate is entered correctly?
The Fuse on the Indoor PCB is okay.

why should the pcb's lose their configuration when the aircondition is disconnected ?

The route from China to here has lasted months and the aircondition was also disconnected as well.

I really do not understand this.
But this can not be, this is really to cry!!

you say you have no power to the indoor on these smaller models 09-12 power is to the indoor of a flying lead from new,it maybe a starting place to check voltage at the indoor and outdoor and report back

Hello superswill!

The Indoorunit is plugged in and starts to run.
After a few minutes it shows E101, i think the Indoorunit noticed that the Outdoorunit don't run.

In the Indoorunit is a Terminal for the lead from Outdoor (N1) 1 2 and ground.
There is no power on the Terminal that combines the Indoor with the Outdoorunit.
The Outdoorunit has no power.

I have looked after the fuse at the PCB's.
I have found one in the Indoorunit and one at the Outdoorunit.
I have checked and they are ok!

I think i hear sometimes a relay klicking in the Indoorunit.

What can i do / check now?

I have talk to these peoples 3 times and they don't help me because the aircondition is not from mft-online.net.
mtf-online.net is the oficial distributor for samsung aircondition in germany.
They help only for models that are listet on their page.

I must see where i can get the board and must hope thast it!
Do you know how much around a PCB costs ?
