Seems not working, only a start up screen.
This is not a good start for a site that pretends to help those with computer problems.

And my screen resolution is OK for me, so why should I change it.

If users have to change common settings on their PC then they surely will go away immediate from your site. Not everyone has that much experience with computer settings and many are afraid to change those on a good running PC-

That's a human behavior. Same for those very slowly uploading pages, too much Flash intro's, music that can't be switched off, too much pictures in the welcome screen, asking to install software or change settings....

Peter,

With larger monitors becoming cheaper and more common it makes sense for a website to use a higher screen resolution.
Many people will already be using the correct resolution anyway and will not need to change settings.Perhaps there should be a poll on here ,with what resolution you would perfer to see used on a website.

Try viewing site again .i have no problem with the site

Well, I think we have shown that Tony S cannot type his advertised website correctly which does not help sell the product.

Quite what the site has to do with novices I don't know, the wealth of adverts and scrolling/colour changing screens made me feel queasy  and as I couldn't see the point of it all I left the site unimpressed.

As blatant advertising goes it is a 10 out of 10.

HI Mark

I paid about £1000 for this Viao (PCG-FX503) about 18 months ago - obviously its now out of date but I still struggle to see the screen when connected to a VRV outdoors in the sun. The new one I saw in PC World had increadable graphics. Go check it out.

Not being one to normally knock peoples efforts at web design but .................................

WOW, can I suggest that you stop using whatever editor (looks like a Microsoft one) you are using and take a basic course in HTML, this will allow you to understand whats going wrong on your site. Then go and get Dreamweaver or another product like that.

Oh, and turn off that horrible music, please ;)
