Fridge +18, Freezer -32'

Our fridge freezer hotpoint mistral (FF27P) is obviously too warm at +18' and our freezer is - 32'. It often switches between temperatures but never stays correct for very long. Can you tell me do i need a new thermistor?

My experience of Hotpoint Mistrals is they tend to only get couple of faults;
1. Fridge door hinge wears causing door to drop and not hit switch on upper edge, thus keeping interior fan off.
2. Frost sensor in freezer fails - this also keeps fan from starting (without fan no cold air is forced up to fridge section)
Upshoot of this is see if your fan is starting up.....
