I have a Zanussi freezer ZUF 1056 self defrosting. About 10 +- yrs old. red light comes on with bleep alarm. Annoying in the middle of the night - Help!

The beeps are simply Morse code for "I'm F**ked, send me to the dump and buy a new one"

May be unstable contact in the door switch (if such is there) ?
