HI i have the above unit in my home it aint working will switch on and motor and internal fans run standby light flashing red and timer light flashing green book is missing also dont think external compressor is kicking in anyone got a book on trouble shooting or any idea whats wrong.would be much appreciated. cheers guys:confused:

Can't seem to find your model number on the Ascon website but maybe you might find a similar unit there and can download the manual for that one.

Fault codes are often simlar across the range.

Dont know if this will help but as a general rule on Acson units, faults as follows

Wireless Remote Controlled units :- count flashes on power light of indoor unit.
continues flash = frost prevention
once every 3 seconds = compressor overload
twice every 3 seconds = pump fault
3 times every 3 seconds = gasl leak
4 times evey 3 seconds = sensor fault (room/indoor/outdoor coils)

Wired Remote Control
E1 blinking = Room Senson
E2 " = indoor Coil Sensor
E3 " = outdoor coil sensor
E4 " = compressor overload
E5 " = Gasl Leak
E6 " = pump fault
heat led blinking = outdoor defrost
