I am looking for all the NH3 pro's to help me out. I have a frick RWBII-177H screw compressor I am trying to find out what my oil pressure should be above discharge pressure. The technical specs that came with the compressor list 45-55 psi above suction pressure but that is for a non continuous oil pump. The oil pump on it is designed to run continuosly.

According to the Installation-Operation-Maintenance for RWB II models 60-856 the oil pressure should be 20-25 psi (high stage) 30-35 psi (booster) at the highest normal head pressure or intermediate pressure expected with the compressor fully loaded. The compressor will require maximum oil flow under these conditions. This is different for cycling oil pumps, discharge pressure 55 psi above suction, when it falls below 45 psi the pump will start back up.
