are you behind a firewall, most firewalls will not allow chat rooms

Whatever, I successfully utilize a java chat on another site. One thing that may be different now, however, is this new java 2 platform program that I have. Is it compatable?

the program says cannot connect, try again... but then it indicates "logging in... please wait". I don't understand. If I'm not connected, how can I be logging in?
I've used java chat (on this same machine and configuration) before, no problems.
I checked my browser settings (java enabled), and I turned off the firewall on the proxy software (not that it ever affected chat, before) ... I'll try another machine....

OK, I am at work and tried to connect as well from behind the firewall and its a no go.
I also shows the room then shows the same as you. It is the one flaw in the system, sorry. You will just need to wait till you get home to do your chatting LOL

Hi Guys,
There seems to be more traffic on the site on a friday, so how about this friday 8pm GMT
Chemi, if i have worked this out it should put you in about 10pm there and the guy's over the pond somewhere between midday and 5pm depending where they are.
