Re-equipped fridge freezer

Hi

Just bought a new fridge freezer(FF) :D from a local charity Beko CDA660FW, with some estetic damage at a good price.

The first delivery FF never worked as the compressor was damaged:eek:. This organisation has given us another one. The second FF engine or compressor seems to be working all the time making a constant buzzing noise, we wonder whether this FF will also have a problem with the compressor or maybe the thermostat this time. Everything in the Fridge was frozen this morning and we had to put it at 1.5 from 2 out of 5.

The question is: is it normal that the compressor/engine makes this constant noise without almot stopping?
Does anyone know if this model has a recurrent problem with compressors? :rolleyes:

Sounds like lke you have a faulty one.

The compressor should only run for about ten mins and then be off for about ten to twenty mins.

If the compressor is running continuously then there is a problem with the freezer.

I would inform them that it is faulty. It seems that there may be more than just dents and scratches wrong with these freezers.
