A room air conditioner (small capacity wall mounted split type, range of 2.5kW to 3.5kW, constant speed compressor), tested at ISO5151 condition with outdoor temp. of 35/24'C and indoor temp. 27/19'C dry and wet bulb.
What is the different in term of COP, cooling capacity and input power of 2 capillary tube with the same resistance value but with the different inner diameter and length?
condition 1.
I just change the capillary tube from inner diameter of 1.2mm to 1.5mm and redesign the capillary tube length and binding shape to match the resistance value with the original, without changing the amount of refrigerant.
condition 2.
Same as the condition 1, except this time I change also the refrigerant amount to match the PS,PD and also the discharge temperature of the compressor (i.e. keep at 84'C).
I would appreciate if anybody could answer my question or even an opinion. thank you.

If you get the answer then share, as per my knowledge, Cooling capacity and EER will not get effected.
