I'm looking for some help with Mits. G-50a issues. First of all I am not in the AC/Heating field. This system was installed a few weeks ago and the contractor kinda guessed on the installation it looks like. We have one outside unit, six inside units, and the G-50a controller. We can't get the contractor to come back because Mits. told them it would cost $2,500 for the training and that wasn't in the budget. So, does anyone have any experience with this system? What other info do I need to provide?

1/ The G50 central controller needs to be wired to the power pack as per instruction manual
2/ The G50 + power pack need to be connected to the outdoor unit central control terminals as per instructions with 1.5mm screen cable & screen connected to ground at outdoor unit.
3/ The indoor units need to be set up with Mnet address at each indoor unit
01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06 & outdoor unit set address 51.

Then program the indoor unit in group settings at the G50 all as per instruction manual.

A few weeks ago I watched over a young engineer as he set up his first AG150 (which is the same as the G50 but with touch screen)
He did it in about 10 mins with no mistakes so it is not very difficult.

Any a/c engineer should be able to do it given an installation manual.

I could come & do it for you if you pay for the return flight from UK + my standard oversees day rate cost:D:D:D

Thanks, for the replies. Now that I found someone who knows about this, these are the issues I have with it. All units: 001-005 have error messages of 6607. Only 006 doesn't have this message. But, 006 will not turn on. the remote controller shows "central". I've tried controlling the different groups from the G-50A but they don't respond. Any suggestions?

So you have local remote controls for each indoor unit
Are they PAR27 using 30v d/c Mnet control voltage & have address settings dips ?
or
PAR21 using 12v d/c from remote control terminals on indoor unit & no address setting dips ?

Is the outdoor unit PUHY or PURY ?

6607 is communication error which can be caused by many things.
Is the 6607 error reported at the local remote control or the G50 or both for indoor units 001 to 005 ?

Please advise exactly what information is reported with the 6607 error for each unit.
